Day 1: Arrival in Paris (Nov 30)

Arrive in Paris, the City of Lights, and check into your luxurious hotel for an overnight stay.

Enjoy a leisurely evening at your leisure, with the option to take in the festive decorations and twinkling lights of the iconic Champs-Élysées.


Day 2: Paris to Strasbourg (Dec 1)

After breakfast, board a comfortable train to Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region, renowned for its medieval charm and festive ambiance.

Check in to your elegant hotel for a two-night stay in this fairytale-like city.

Spend the evening exploring Strasbourg's historic district, home to one of Europe’s oldest and most beautiful Christmas markets.


Day 3: Day trip to Colmar (Dec 2)

Enjoy a scenic excursion to Colmar, one of the most picturesque towns in France.

For six weeks, the whole of Old Colmar, miraculously becomes one huge multifaceted Christmas market.  Each of Colmar’s six Christmas markets is a separate mini-village with its own collection of passionate craftsmen.  As you browse the 180 stalls, you really feel the magic of Christmas seeping into you. 

Return to Strasbourg in the evening for a relaxing night at your hotel.


Day 4: Boarding the Amadeus River Cruise (Dec 3)

After lunch, transfer to the dock and board the Amadeus River Cruise for the Magic of Advent on the Rhine cruise.

Day 5-6: Rhine River Cruise (Dec 4-5)

Visit Alsace, Obernai, and Speyer

  • After breakfast, embark on a half-day guided tour through the scenic Alsace region, a picturesque area famous for its vineyards, charming villages, and beautiful landscapes.
  • Visit Obernai, a lovely medieval town with half-timbered houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. 
  • Visit the Speyer Cathedral and explore the local Christmas Market, set against the backdrop of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
  • Visit the Heidelberg Castle and explore the Christmas market set up in the heart of this picturesque city. 
Day 6-7 (Dec 5-6)

Continue your scenic river cruise through picturesque towns, including:

  • Koblenz: Visit the Deutsches Eck (German Corner) and explore the historic center filled with Christmas market stalls and local treats.
  • Rüdesheim: A charming village famous for its holiday markets and festive atmosphere.
  • Onboard activities include wine tastings, holiday dinners, and festive entertainment as you make your way through the Rhine Valley.
Day 8, Arrival in Cologne (Dec 7)

Disembark in Cologne, Germany, home to seven distinct Christmas markets, each offering a unique experience.

Spend the day exploring the famous Cologne Cathedral and stroll through the historic Old Town.

Immerse yourself in the magic of the Cologne Christmas markets, where you can find handcrafted gifts, enjoy warm mulled wine, and indulge in festive treats.


Day 9: Cologne to Frankfurt (Dec 8)

After breakfast, board a train to Frankfurt, the financial heart of Germany.

Spend the day exploring Frankfurt’s Christmas markets, located in the charming Römerberg square and surrounding areas.

In the evening, enjoy a festive dinner and explore the city's holiday lights before checking into your hotel for the night.



Day 10: Departure (Dec 9)

It’s time to return home. Meet in the hotel lobby for your transfer to the airport.
